My collection of ideas.

CAN I MAKE FAIL-SAFE TO-DO LIST & INCREASE PERFORMANCE

I make every to-dos with honest hope of sticking to it whatever may come. In spite of it I falter regularly. I can’t pull my concentration together for studies on all times,even in desperate times. Why?

My personal awareness’s were as follows:

  1. PSYCHOLOGICAL CHANGES -worries,plain hesitancy, dampened persistence,  bullied/negative criticisms, overwhelmed feeling.
  2. PHYSICAL CHANGES -anxious nerves, tensed muscles.
  3. METABOLIC CHANGES -abnormal glucose from inadequate food or junk food, constipation[apologies.. but yeah], excess sleep from sweets & sweet drinks.
  4. HORMONAL CHANGES -[female thing .... well apologies again...3 days before till completion]
  5. ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES -uncomfortable seating,accessibility,clothes,  extremes of weather-heat,sultry,cold,  unsuitable atmosphere-noisy,dreary colors or texture,too much of light,clutter.

HOW TO FIX THEM:

For psychological issues -

For physical issues -

  • practice heart coherence or breathing to calm down,
  • revise your concise notes many times till you’re able to contrast concepts & get into flow.

For metabolic changes -

  • keep a daily desk stock of fruit/nuts/curd/boiled sweet potato…,
  • active playful ways of doing everything helps.

For hormonal changes -

  • get done some long pending work [blogging, haircut, cleaning, rearrange] to get off the fateful stuck feeling,
  • strenghten the goals [making a collage or browsing on your doubts] to not get lost.

Environmental hiccups

  • logical selection of clothes.
  • declutter to create a comfortable dwelling.
  • study at a new place away from usual boring routine.

HOW TO ENCOURAGE GOOD LEARNING.

How do we make a teacher great?

The answer is really that we don’t.

To encourage a student to study more, primary requisite is to help protect his concentration from:

  1. dissipating towards external pressures:irrelevant work,unproductive activities,disturbing people.
  2. struggling for internal comforts:food,environment.
  3. prejudices towards learning:status qou,family heritage,boring,uncoolness about being studious..

Focus can be sustained by meeting their level of understanding through:

  1. relavent surrounding info on the topic, consicely paraphrased & metaphored/diagramed notes  & clarity in language to increase effectiveness.
  2. manageable course load for the assigned time.
  3. integrating all subjects to supplement one another for increasing efficiency & effectiveness.
  4. providing alternative resources to explore & increase awareness-Internet,reference books,exposure to success icons.
  5. engaging, energetic pepping dynamic, happy atmosphere increasing self esteem & involvement.

Persistence can be encouraged when the learning :

  1. challenges enough but is within competency level to achieve flow-exams/tests/questions.
  2. meets the 3 dominant learning styles:winging before,charge into mid crisis,aftermath analysis.
  3. allows true understanding-force them to anticipate the actual action of theory by introducing 3 flaws in the lecture to be deciphered by them.
  4. accounts individual student’s performance feedback to work on weaknesses.
  5. facilitates accountability & sharing knowledge through collaboration:seminars,sessions.

Self-assurance, not self-awareness drives performance.

MY HATE BUSTERS

I use these reasoning’s to not feel the toxic hate:

  1. Normal human psychology is predisposed to think/react emotionally & it is difficult to attain the rational-sensitive balance in thoughts. So have patience & forgive.
  2. The high I get by acting on my own view with others well-being in mind & not retaliating emotionally prevents hate from surfacing. Reject the charged emotions & figure out how to stay not engulfing.
  3. State with care in order to clarify the facts not considered by the critic. Or “I DON’T KNOW” “I’LL ALWAYS BE READY TO OBLIGE A BETTER ADVICE”.
  4. Twist their criticism as a good intention & reflect back to them as that’s what i interpreted of their criticism.
  5. Find something I can appreciate in the other person & Agree with any truth in the criticism.
  6. I worship my mind’s clarity & flow of thoughts, so I’ll avoid thinking about the hater by replacing with a good feeling from completing a long pending task or creating something interesting or reading something new.
  7. When my ANGER is provoked, I’ll forget the direct criticism which hurt me personally &  target the radical problem/ignorance.
  8. I love myself for I didn’t resort to hatred.
  9. I read Linda Goodman’s ‘love signs’ to zoom away by reflecting that people have varied personalities  that often leads to misunderstandings due to failure of not able to empathize with others perspective.
  10. I read OVERCOMING BIAS blog to get that humble high of getting debugged from Elizer Yudkowsky’s posts & that I’m more bothered to understand the tough stuff on human biases than to live on lower feelings like hatred.

WHY I SAY “NO” TO HERD UNITY HAVING NO PURPOSE

Herd unity accepts a person as long as there is no threat to self-defences. It is mere concentration on oneself or other’ self in the group with no aim of empowering.

But a community with a purpose aims at empowering each one while serving a higher cause. Higher purpose gives resolution to learn continuously, while, others are a source for developing our sensitive conscience. This bonding of knowledge & sensitivity gives the satisfaction of a meaningful life.

WHY DO I FEEL DIFFICULT TO CONFINE READILY

I don’t confine myself in every other person I know, for these reasons:

  • I never felt they are able enough- many don’t know how to see the other person’s reality, they merely listen to jut out a quick fix out of their egos to satisfy themselves. Able ones are those insightful people with both life experiences & knowledge in wide areas.
  • I trust few- I came across many as with no sincere intention but who just say yeses to only get the information out of me & end the dialogue with a cruel joke or to make it a topic of their gossip for allaying boredom.
