- negotiate like a wrestler,ask more & more often & don’t settle sooner. practice in local markets during holidays.
- set up a dealing interaction & build a good reputation by doing a good job around the mentor you want to meet. get close to a role model by helping them with everyday tasks, then observe & learn. then practice being a leader yourself wherever you can, esp when the consequences of making mistakes are small. being the figurehead of such initiatives does not only enlarge your network but also increases your self-confidence. as a result, your environment starts recognizing your leadership capcities & you’ll be invited to take the leader role more often.
